The conference takes place within the context of the LLP Grundtvig Network Project "LEM - The Learning Museum" (2010-2013). It is addressed in the first place to museum educators and museum professionals who are interested in lifelong learning in a museum context, work with adults, or have a specific interest in one of the many subject areas addressed by the LEM Network Project.
On 11 October participants will have the opportunity to attend the LEM Project partners meeting, therefore meeting all the 23 institutions involved in it and receive first hand information about its aims, workplan and the opportunities to be involved in its many activities by becoming an Associate Partner.
On 12 October they will attend the first international public event organised within the framework of the LEM Project. In the morning there will be keynote speeches and in the afternoon participants will have the chance to participate in two different workshops. The participants can also attend only the programme on 12 October.
The programme on 12 October is organised together with the Open Museum - A developing Learning Environment for Adults -project.
